Perspective Gif.
This is an idea I created in Photoshop. I was just experimenting with different idea when I created this one. I would like to develop this idea further in the future.
Infinite Jamie
This is an idea I developed from the wall gif I created. I wanted to so an infinite illusion. I think I could develop something like this more in the future with more photographs and more ideas.

Improved Bird Animation
This is a gif I already created and improved by making the birds fly all the way around, making it look more complete. I like this one better because it doesn't just stop and start again. I got rid of the other bird in the background because I think it looked uneven having three birds flying and no others.

Wall Animation
This is an animation I created using Photoshop, I wanted to do something interesting and experimental with the abstraction in the landscape topic I chose.
Forest Animation
This is an animation I created using Photoshop. It was originally a photograph I did to be a still image but I wanted to do something different and make it look more interesting so I created the animation. I think I might add more movement later but I'm not too sure.
Sky Animation
This is an animation I created on Photoshop. It relates to my abstraction in the landscape topic because of the photographs I took of the sky and the way I edited them. I came up with the idea to make it look like an explosion to make it look more interesting.

Target 12/03/13
By the end of the lesson you should have a deeper understanding of your chosen topic, which will allow you to develop, and evaluate your growing plans for your exam.
I am going to do my first studio shoot of this project. I am going to do a silhouette of the side of a model's face a put trees on the edge to show abstraction in the landscape and to explore different possibilities of this project.

Target 05/03/13
Today I am going to do contextual work and editing my last shoot, if there is time, I am going to do another shoot and hopefully edit that one as well. I am going to do my discussion and image bank today to get the contextual work out of the way. I am also going to research some ideas I could do for this project to give me some ideas for the next shoots.

Review
My unit 4 project is based on abstraction in the landscape photography. At first I didn't really know how to interpret this topic and how I could develop it. However, I have realised I can pretty much do anything with this topic. So far I haven't edited as many photographs as I need to but I would like to look at the different ways landscape can be seen, instead of it just being a straight photograph, I would like to look at parts of the landscape and edit certain bits. I am going to be doing multiple imagery and panoramic views of the landscape to create abstract effects. I'd also like to look at different times of the same landscape to show the abstraction and how different it can be at different times.

Target 14/02/13
Today I am going to take photographs of some different types of landscape such as sky scape, parts of landscape and so on to add to my abstracted portion of the topic I am doing.

Target 12/02/13
My target for the day is to scout out some good locations to do my topic. I will be taking photographs of landscapes and distances to see what I can work with. I would like to do some edits and experiment with the different ideas I have for this project.

Splatter Animation
This is an animation I created from a technique I did through a tutorial. I wanted the splatter to look more effective so I made it move away from myself and disappear. This could represent the idea of the missing pieces of myself dispersing and fading away. It could be interpreted in different ways by different people. I would like to do more animations like this, even though it took some time, I like making the effort and seeing good results.

Image within image Gif - Final Print
This is a Gif I have created with my image within image technique. I just changed one part of the photograph to keep the focus on one part. I would like to create more animations like this one because it is quite simple to do with the right amount of time. Animations are an interesting way of showing the photograph's emotional value through movement. This is also one of my chosen final prints for my project.

Paint Splatter Technique
This is a new technique I just learnt from a YouTube tutorial. It is an easy technique to learn and develop. Paul added the wind effect onto the outer splatters to make it look as if the pieces were flying off of me. I used this photograph because it was an easy photograph to manipulate. I tried to splatter both sides of me but I didn't think it looked right so I decided to stick to one side to make it look more effective. I think I might have splatter my face too much, I think it would have looked better if there were less splatters all over my face. Paul had an idea of making this technique into an animation by doing each splatter separately. This could work but it would take a lot of time and effort. If this technique relates to my exam question in anyway, I would like to use it because it's easy and quick enough to do now I know how to do it. I think it shows a sense of surrealism because it could be something in a dream sequence or an unconscious thought which makes it surreal.
This is another photograph I edited with the paint splatter technique. I did not use the wind effect on this photograph because I think it looks better without it in this particular photograph. I only did a part of the model's hand and guitar so I didn't over do it and to make the focus on the neck of the guitar. I did not take the guitar photograph in the studio with the red background but hopefully it looks like it. I used the same tutorial technique which really helped me to understand masks and using different layers to create an illusion such as this. I really like this technique and would like to use it even more in future shoots as a surrealism technique and a experimental technique.
